The State Human Rights Commission, Tamilnadu commenced functioning from 17th April 1997. For the past 25 years, the Statue Human Rights Commission, Tamilnadu is addressing various issues related to human rights violation in the State of Tamilnadu. Since its inception, the commission has taken many steps to protect human rights of people.
