Kurumba Paintings is a unique tribal art form found in the Nilgris and Allu Kurumbas are the experts in painting. Four colours are used traditionally. Red ("Semm manna") and White ("Bodhi manna") are obtained from soils, black is obtained from the bark of a tree ("Kari maram") and green from the leaves of a plant ("Kaatavarai Sedi"). This special cover is released under the aegis of AKAM 2.0 to promote Tribal Products.
