TN/20/2023 Eurasian Curlew

Eurasian Curlew ( Numenius arquata ) is a large wader bird known for its distinctive long, curved bill and intricate, mottled brown plumage. These birds are primarily migratory, and their movements are closely linked to the changing seasons and availability of food. One of the notable stopover sites for the Eurasian Curlew during its migration is Point Calimere, located on the south-eastern coast of India in Tamil Nadu.
